PM taking strong notice calls for report on Karachi riots |

KARACHI: Prime Minister, Yusuf Raza Gilani, taking strong notice of the Karachi run riots, has called for an immediate report.
PM, Yusuf Raza Gilani has taken strong notice of the violent incidents taking place in Karachi resulting in the loss of precious lives on which he felt deeply grieved. Issuing orders to the Interior Advisor, Rahman Malik for conducting immediate investigations, called for the initial report within 24 hours. The prime minister has also directed ensuring protection to the life and property of the people.
Karachi in the grip of riots since yesterday evening has thus far lost 17 valuable lives, while over 90 persons have been injured besides 21 vehicles, six shops and warehouse were set at fire.
