Fire exchange kills six at Bannu jirga   Updated at: 1435 PST, Sunday, November 09, 2008     BANNU: At least six people were killed in an exchange of fire during a jirga here on Sunday. A jirga was underway to settle a property dispute between two brothers in Cantt. Police station limit in Mandokhel when local Taliban on behalf of one brother offered some conditions. However, on refusal to accept these conditions, Taliban opened fire on members of the opposite group, killing one person on the spot. In reply, five Taliban were also killed.
