Islamabad to be developed on Turkish model

Turkey’s economic growth progress in infrastructure development in short span of time is remarkable and Pakistan want to borrow some good ideas from Turkish development model to develop Islamabad.
This was stated by Minister of State for the Capital Administration and Development Division Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary during a meeting with Governor of Qanoonia, Turkey, Ejder Saricicek and Deputy Mayor of Qanoonia Abdul Melik Otgen, who called on him along with a delegation of Insani Haq Huriat.
Khubaib Foundation chairman Nadeem Khan accompanied the delegation.
The matters related to bilateral interest came under discussion during the meeting.
The CADD minister appreciated Turkey’s cooperation and assistance to Pakistan and admired Turkey’s role during reconstruction and rehabilitation after the 2005 earthquake.
He praised Turkish interest and contribution in Pakistan's health and education sectors.
The governor of Qanoonia said Turkey and Pakistan were friendly countries, which always helped each other in the hour of need.
He briefed the minister about the work of Insani Haq Huriat in Pakistan, especially towards provision of education to the orphan children in Pakistan.
