Rawalpindi : The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) in collaboration with Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, a Turkish non-governmental organisation (NGO) IHH-NL and Helpline would distribute ration bags among 1,000 poor families in wake of coronavirus on April 9.
According to RDA spokesman, Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul, RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza, Turkish NGO IHH-NL Selami Yuksel, General Secretary Ikhlaqur Rehman and RDA officers would distribute ration bags among the poor and destitute people in Rawalpindi-controlled area.
The Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan said Pakistan and Turkey are two brotherly countries and the relations between them was centuries old. He said Turkish people had great respect and love for their Pakistani brethren and we will continue to cooperate in the future.
RDA chairman said Turkey and Pakistan working together for the welfare of the poor people and the main agenda of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is to improve the lives of the people.
