Chohan says mafia cast spell on him
LAHORE: Provincial Information Minister Fiazul Hassan Chohan on Thursday said the mafia had cast a spell on him. “Bones are being recovered from my room”, he revealed to the audience at Alhamra.
Speaking at the launching ceremony of Munno Bhai edition of “Mahe Noor” magazine of Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications, the minister said the officers and staff members of DGPR were doing their best to improve the image of government. He praised them for propagating the policies and people-friendly measures taken by government in an effective way.
Paying tribute to Munno Bhai, the minister said he was the real asset of Pakistan. He used his pen against social and economic disparity in the society, adding Munno Bhai was a unique poet and well-known dramatist and journalist. The minister said the government functionaries who resigned after allegations levelled against them proved they felt ashamed. But, Hamza Shahbaz, he said, was not that person to resign. “He just wants PAC chairmanship at any cost,” he taunted.
