PESHAWAR: As many as six commanders of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) including a brother and an uncle of former TTP chief Hakimullah Mahsud surrendered to the authorities along with their 30 men on Saturday, media reports said.
Reports said those who surrendered were shifted to an unknown location. The TTP commanders who laid down their arms included former TTP chief Hakimullah Mahsud's brother Ijaz and uncle Khair Mohammad. Four others were also key commanders.
According to UAE mission, reception was slated for Friday in Serena Hotel Islamabad but has been rescheduled
