Workshop for training of master trainers on assessment

Senator Ahsan Iqbal said on Friday said that to produce and disseminate information which builds the human capacity we have to learn new methods and upgrade system of examination
Speaking as chief guest at the workshop for Training of Master Trainers on Assessment in the Auditorium of Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education here he said that for preparing new generation we need to start from basic foundation of education system which include Teaching and Examination system through assessment.
The government has set up National Curriculum Council which would start working on introducing new curriculum in education in short period. He said through new system the capability and quality of students would be enhanced. There is need to enhance capability of self evaluation among of students by the teachers. They have to inculcate creativity and assessment among the students.
The choice is becoming abundant among new generation as such there is need to develop capacity which is possible through assessment. The teachers have to divine system to force students for making assessments. Senator Ahsan Iqbal also stressed on reforming examination system which is possible through good governance and technical abilities as well as capabilities of students.
Quality of education is the only solution of success for well being and prosperity of students.
We have to develop on own indigenous knowledge which suits our requirements. He said knowledge which is put into action would be fruitful.
He dilated upon the importance of training of the master trainers which plays an important role to play in building the base of a sound educational system.
The senator said there is need to remove this difference in our teaching methods in order to secure the future of our students. Change cannot come in a day, to bring a change we all need to work together while sharing good practices with each other regardless of anything else because education is our collective responsibility.
Event was attended by Federal Secretary Education, joint Secretary Education, officials of FBISE and other departments of the Federal Education Ministry. Later on, the Federal Secretary Education, Humayun Khan distributed certificates among those who completed master trainers.
