Three men, unidentified so far, were found dead in different areas of the City on Friday.
A 60-year-old ma was found dead in the Data Darbar police area.
A 30-year-old man was found dead in the Qila Gujjar Singh police jurisdiction. A 70-year-old man was found dead in the Misri Shah police area.
About all the deceased, respective police said they looked addicts and might have died of drugs overuse. However, they said, autopsy would help ascertain the causes of their deaths. The police are searching for their families. The bodies have been shifted to morgue.
SUSPENDED: Chief Traffic Officer Tayyab Cheema has suspended a traffic warden over misbehaviour with a citizen.
The CTO took action against traffic warden Amir on the complaint of one Tariq and ordered the City SP to complete inquiry against him within two days.
Meanwhile, the CTO issued show-cause notices to three cops, including an inspector of police lines in Manawan, over negligence and poor cleanliness. The notices were served on Inspector Sardar, Line Officer Shahbaz and duty officer Naveed.
OPEN COURT: Sadr SP Faisal Mukhtar has said the problems of the citizens will be resolved on priority basis through open courts at mosques.
He held an open court at Tajdar-e-Anbia mosque in Sabzazar and listened to the complaints of eight citizens related to monetary disputes, tenancy and encroachments. The SP ordered the SHO to resolve the issues without any delay.
