ISLAMABAD: Iranian President Dr Hassan Rouhani will be paying a two-day official visit to Pakistan to discuss ways to strengthen the bilateral relations from tomorrow (Friday).The Iranian president is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif which is significant after lifting of sanctions on Iran that has opened new avenues for enhancing economic interaction.The Foreign Office in a statement said the leadership would have an exchange of views on strengthening the bilateral relations. This will be President Rouhani’s first visit to Pakistan as the president of Iran. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministers, senior officials and businessmen. The Iranian president will hold meetings with the president and prime minister.
