MUMBAI: Jumping the bandwagon of #HumFitTohIndiaFit, Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone have accepted India’s sports minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore’s online fitness challenge.
Amitabh Bachchan, who is quite active on social media, took to Twitter to accept the dare.
“@Ra_THORe we accept the challenge of #HumFitTohIndiaFit #FitnessChallenge... Main mantra: BE CONTINUOUSLY MOBILE... Get up for every errand yourself, gym each day, push away that excess morsel of temptation, drive or cycle yourself, see the sun more often,” he wrote.
‘Hum Fit Toh India Fit’ challenge was started by the country’s sports minister Rathore after he posted a video of himself doing push-ups a few days ago. He then nominated Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, tennis star Saina Nehwal and cricketer Virat Kohli, who all posted their respective workout videos.
On the other hand, Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone also posted a boomerang video showcasing her having a run in a park.
Some prominent personalities who have accepted the fitness challenge include Hrithik Roshan, Anushka Sharma, Akhil Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya, PT Usha, PV Sindhu, Tiger Shroff, Farhan Akhtar, Babita Phogat and TV actor Soumya Tandon.
