DAVOS: The king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has added yet another feather in his caps as he received the World Economic Forum’s 24th Crystal Award, together with Elton John and Cate Blanchett.
As per details, the Annual Crystal Awards ceremony celebrated the achievements of outstanding artists for their excellent contribution to improving the state of the world. The annual event opened the World Economic Forum summit in the Swiss ski resort,
After receiving the award, the King Khan tweeted; “Honoured to receive the World Economic Forum’s 24th Crystal Award, together with Elton John and Cate Blanchett. My fan moment.”
While recognizing SRK’s exemplary commitment to improving the state of the world, the World Economic Forum (WEF) said; “Sharukh has been honored for his leadership in championing children’s and women’s rights in India.”
The past awardees from India include Amitabh Bachchan, Mallika Sarabhai, A R Rahman, Shabana Azmi, Ravi Shankar and Amjad Ali Khan.
