KARACHI: Firefighters were able to successfully extinguish a third degree fire that had erupted at a garment factory in Karachi, on Friday morning.
According to details, a massive fire erupted at a garment factory in the SITE area of Karachi late on Thursday night.
Rescue sources said the blaze had engulfed three-storey building of the factory located at Nooras Chowrangi.
Rescuers made efforts to put out the fire with the assistance of 18 fire-tenders and five water- bowsers.
The fire brigade authorities had declared it third-degree blaze.
All the workers inside the factory have been rescued safely. Power supply has been disconnected.
After extinguishing the fire, the cooling process was currently underway at the factory.
