ISLAMABAD: Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz on Thursday said the US drone strike in Pakistan not only did undermine relations between Washington and Islamabad it also affected Afghan peace process.
Speaking in the Senate, he dispelled the notion that government remained silent on drone attack.
“The impression that we are silent on this issue is not correct…the important thing is drone attack in Noshki affected Pak-US relations and peace process in Afghanistan,” said he.
He further said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of the Army Staff were informed after the US drone attack.
