KARACHI: The Sindh Rangers arrested a target killer associated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement on late Sunday night, said an official on Monday.
Speaking to media, Colonel Faisal, a senior official of the paramilitary force, said Kashif alias David was taken into custody during a “targeted search operation” carried out near the Nine-Zero, the MQM’s headquarters.
“Kashif alias David was a most wanted target killer affiliated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement,” he said.
He said acting on a lead provided by the suspect the Rangers conducted a raid in the same area, seizing huge cache of arms and ammunition.
Geo News reporter said the suspect used to run a team of assassins in Orangi Town area of the metropolis and the law enforcement agencies had long been conducting raids to arrest him.
