MNA intervenes after son expels parents from house
Tuesday, November 25, 2008
MUZAFFARGARH: PPP MNA Jamshed Dasti managed to get a man sent to the police lock-up for expelling his senile parents from their house twice, but the father took pity on his son and got him freed from the police custody.

Sources said on Monday that one Farooq allegedly expelled his old father Muhammad Ibrahim and mother from their house. After the incident, Farooq locked the house and shifted to Karachi with his family.

His old parents were forced to live in the open in a nearby desert without any shelter or winter garments. MNA Jamshed Ahmed Dasti, after knowing the episode, brought the old couple to their house. He got it unlocked to enable them to reside in it.

When Farooq came to know about the re-entry of his parents in the house, he rushed to Muzaffargarh and expelled them once again from the house they once possessed. MNA Dasti managed to get the man sent in the police lock-up. But the father, Ibrahim, went to police station to get his son released. He told the police that he had pardoned his son. However, Farooq was freed on the assurance that he would not disturb his old parents any more in future.
