| JI’s referendum on KLL a successful rehearsal of bogus voting in their hopeful mid-term elections |
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) true to its chemistry more akin to the Maulanas of Islamabad Lal Masjid and Swat’s Maulana Sufi Muhammad, who had made it no secret in publicly declaring that the existing parliament, judiciary and all other democratic setups are un-Islamic and must be done away with by force, but the JI differing in tactics believes in overthrowing the system by subverting it from within, went on the other day staging with fanfare of holding referendum on the Kerry-Lugar Law (KLL), which according the published reports today, has broken all previous records of bogus voting.
It may be recalled that earlier the JI Amirul Momineen, General Muhammad Ziaul Huque in December 1984 had held a referendum in the county and the masses were given the option to elect or reject the General by answering the question phrased in a way that Zia-ul-Haq's victory was related to the process of Islamization in the country. According to the official result, more than 95 percent of the votes were cast in favor of Zia-ul-Haq, thus he was elected as President for the next five years.
Similarly, General Pervez Musharraf, like his predecessor General Ziaul Huque, in 2002 undertook to legitimize his un-constitutional rule by holding a national referendum and had declared to have won 97.7 percent of the vote in a referendum he called to add five years to his term as president, but instead of basking in glory his government faced allegations of widespread voter fraud.
Breaking all past records of vote frauds, JI referendum October 23 result said as many as 98 percent of the Pakistani people are against the United States and voted against the Kerry-Lugar law in a countrywide referendum organized by the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), former JI chief Qazi Hussain Ahmed said on Friday. Qazi said people had rushed to polling stations to show their resentment against the US legislation. “Through this law, the US government wants to impose restrictions on our madrassas, mosques and nuclear assets,” he said.
While JI Islamabad chapter Amir Syed Muhammad Bilal, perhaps unaware of his former chief Qazi already declared the result, said that interest of people in referendum could be gauged from the fact that they received 10 ballot boxes full of ballot papers only from sector G-9/2. He said that counting of ballot papers would be completed by Saturday evening.
Meanwhile some of the leading newspapers in their reports on JI referendum said that voters could cast votes on behalf of their entire family and more than once. The few hired hoodlums, who participated in the exercise, particularly the less educated among them, did not know what the Kerry-Lugar Law contained. In a ‘referendum’ camp at the Dhoke Kashmirian Chowk, organizers were seen asking simple people to mark the ‘No’ option.
Most of the polling camps were set up outside mosques. The referendum was also held in Attock, Peshawar, Dir Lower, Swabi, Chitral and Buner.
Among those who expressed their immediate reaction on the JI referendum, PML-N central leader Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that JI had to face frustration as only 18,000 votes were recovered from the hundreds of thousands of ballots against the Kerry Lugar Law. He said the so-called referendum was an insult to the country and, in fact, it was a deep conspiracy in favour of the Kerry Lugar Law.

In Europe and USA, majority of Maulvis (who lead the prayers) are highly educated Professionals: Doctors, Engineers, Accountants or Marketing Executives who perform their spiritual duties for the advancement and propagation of Islam in its elitist manner and mode - unlike the Maulvis in Pakistan who belong to the poor classes and have adopted to Masjid rituals for bread winning exercise. They may have graduated from Mohalla Madressah with its built-in limitations and are rote to flaunt their faith without flourish that comes with enlightenment and excellence of perception achieved through interaction with spectrum of intelligentsia. |

| We don't know that what kind of religious politicians Qazi and his comany is, Ist they promoted General R musharaf. Now they are against PPP, Nawaz sharif, MQM, ANP. But the question is that what they did in NWFP, they deceived the people in the name of (KITAB). Bisically they promoted Terrorisim in Swat Malakand in that time they were in power as a rulling party. But that time they were silent. | I don't know whether the KLL referendum by the JI is bogus or not, but i m sure 110% that the law is rejected by all genuine Pakistanis and all those praising the bill are upper class treacherous. One would die, but 'll never become a slave. |

| JI has a history of opposing USA. If anyone has any evidence that JI's supported USA in past. I am not supporter of JI, but we should as a democratic society not say any without any evidence. | All religious Pundits or Mullahs are struggling for power. But we are to be blamed for it as well as we are the victims. We sit in front of a Mullah with our heads down and listen to him and believe what ever he says like a fool at a khutba. We don't dare to question him and from there Mullah takes us for a ride and we act like hypnotized idiots. To possess someone is a greatest human desire and we let Mullah to possess us completely, we even offer ourselves to Mullah as a suicidal toy, which he calls as sacrificed for the Almighty Allah. It is not new to know that life is like a journey that starts from the ground and keep climbing until we reach to the top floor, which is defined as death. But before reaching to the top or the death there are a number of stairs. Happily dead are those who had a successful life and perform their full responsibility for their offspring and family otherwise the life is waste. During this life period, right from the beginning we do business to bring the happiness to the family we belong and expand it to the neighbors and acquaintances. Our parents also advise each and every occasion for a fruitful business such education, which later gives good money in a form of a good job. In short everything boils up to "Almighty Rupee". Rupee may not give us everything but can make our life easier. Now, just think a Mullah who is least educated, memorizes a book called Quran (which all of us also memorize any way) enjoys a life, which any one most successful among us cannot achieve at any cost. I sometime question myself that why I should not tell my children to just raise your beard and enjoy all the glory of life, speak what ever he thinks fits at a occasion and be praised and highly respected. Just he had to add, "Allah says". I will not blame Qazi Mohammad Hussein, as there is 98% of us believes him, whether you like it or not. These were the Mullahs a few years back praising USA as "long live USA" in Zia ul Haq era. They changed their colors like reptile as they know they could change and we are sure to believe them. |

| Actually, JI's leaders have gone desperate since ISI has abandoned them after its closure of political wing. Now JI leaders feel they have become orphaned because this party had been a tool in the hand of agencies and had worked for them in recruiting jehadis for Afghanistan and Kashmir. So in desperation now they some time try to arrange train march and some time go America go rally and of late the bogus referendum. But in my view the politics of this party has at the brink of extinction. All their deperate efforts are useless. People have rejected them in past and will reject them in future too. |

Offer & Counter offer or regret if you have choice. Give accounts to financing state and show what you spend what you get in this deal.
