Now, when the elections are knocking at the door, campaigns of the candidates are at the peak and every major and minor political party has come out in the field, with their manifestoes, promising basic rights and other facilities to the people. Besides, a good number of independent candidates have also come to the fore.
February 18 is the D-Day, when narrow contests are expected and the questions arise: Whether any one of the parties would be able to get a clear majority? Which party would be in a position to form the government? Which party/parties would play the key-role in the formation of the government? What would be the role of the independent candidates?
