JUI-F expels 6 tehsil councillors
KARAK: The district executive council of Jamaite Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Karak chapter, on Thursday expelled the disgruntled tehsil councillors from the party and sent their cases to Election Commission.
The decision was taken at the district executive council meeting of the party held with its district president Hafiz Ibn-e-Ameen in the chair.
The meeting was attended by the members of the executive body overwhelmingly. The meeting expressed grave concern over the defection of the party tehsil councillors who cast votes against own Tehsil Nazim Abdul Wahab in the no-trust motion carried out two day back.
The JUI-F leaders said that the councillors had betrayed the party and supported the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf tehsil councillors against the tehsil nazim. The meeting unanimously took a decision to expel all the six disgruntled tehsil councillors from the party.
