PCB calls 25 players for camp ahead of Ireland, England tour
KARACHI: The National Selection Committee headed by Inzamam-ul-Haq has called 25 players for the initial camp from April 11 to 15 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore prior the tour of Ireland and England.
The Test team will be announced after April 15 and the camp for the selected final squad will continue from April 18 to 22.Yasir Shah and Shan Masood have been ruled out due to hip and knee injury, respectively.
Fast bowler Muhammad Abbas has been exempted from the camp as he was allowed to play county cricket in England. He will be in consideration for selection.The team is scheduled to depart on April 23.Following players have been called for the initial camp:
Batsmen: Azhar Ali, Sami Aslam, Haris Sohail, Asad Shafiq, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Usman Salahuddin, Fawad Alam, Saad Ali, Imam-ul-Haq.Spinners: Bilal Asif, Muhammad Asghar, Shadab Khan, Kashif Bhatti.
