PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Healthcare Commission has completed registration of 4,800 private hospitals and laboratories in the province and recovered heavy fines from the violators. As per the official communiqué issued on Monday, CEO, Healthcare Commission, Sqn. Ldr (Retd) Aazar Sardar, said the commission had successfully completed registration of 4800 private hospitals and laboratories. However, he said that the commission had also issued direction for strict action against illegal private hospitals and laboratories in the province.He said that the commission in the last two and a half years had recorded 200 percent increase in the registration.
