Shuhada Package for family of slain Khassadar sought
LANDIKOTAL: The family of a slain Khassadar have appealed to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor and Khyber Agency political agent to provide them the Shuhada package.
Talking to The News, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Khyber Agency leader Ali Akbar Afridi and Daud Afridi said their relative Zarghun Shah had been injured in the twin suicide attack on the Khyber House in 2013.
They said that Zarghun Shah, who was a member of the Khassadar force, was performing duty at the Khyber House when the attack took place. They said that Zarghun Shah had sustained injuries in the attack and had been bedridden since then, but breathed his last some three days back.
The tribesmen appealed to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor and the Khyber Agency political agent to compensate the aggrieved family under the Shuhada package. The slain Khassadar is survived by a widow and two children.
