PESHAWAR: Six people including a woman were killed in separate incidents in the provincial capital on Wednesday.
Police said that one Azhar from Gulshanabad on Kohat Road allegedly shot dead his wife and watchman of a nearby parking lot, Anwar.
The accused alleged that the two were having some relations. However, the family of the woman denied the allegations, saying the accused was an addict.
In Jabba Sohail in the limits of Yakatoot Police Station, the locals recovered a beheaded body.
The police recovered the head from a nearby godown and arrested one Sohail. The body was identified as Amanullah hailing from Hazarkhwani.
Unidentified motorcyclists shot dead a 60-year-old man identified as Buner Khan. Similarly, one Akhtar Munir was killed in Shahabkhel while Noor Habib was killed in Yousufabad. The reasons behind the killings couldn’t be known.
