Girl student shot dead in Hattar

HARIPUR: A girl student of grade 10 was shot dead in the limit of the Hattar Police Station, police said on Tuesday.
They said that one Noor-ul-Ain was on way to school when Adnan allegedly shot her dead.
The victim was a student of Grade 10 at the Government Higher Secondary School, Hattar. The reason behind the killing is stated to be a failed love affair between them. The police registered the case and arrested the accused.
In another incident, a man was killed while his brother sustained serious injuries when unidentified motorcyclist opened fire on them. Police said that armed motorcyclists opened fire at two brothers Nisar and Ejaz inside their shop, leaving them critically injured.
They were taken to a hospital where Nisar succumbed to injuries while Ejaz was shifted to Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad in critical condition.
The attackers managed to escape from the scene. The reason behind the killing could not be ascertained.
