LAHORE: Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has extended its scope of E-challan and now Islamabad registered vehicles will also be receiving their traffic violations tickets at their given addresses.
As per details, Punjab Safe Cities Authority has got Islamabad Excise Department data and Islamabad registered vehicles will be receiving their E-challan tickets in their houses now. Islamabad registered vehicles will be on Punjab Safe Cities Authority’s radar from coming week.
Traffic violators will be ticketed under Motor Vehicle Ordinance and Rules. Citizen can submit their fine in any branch of Bank of Punjab and National Bank of Pakistan.
accidents: Five people were killed and 911 injured across the Punjab during the last 24 hours. The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) responded to 816 road accidents in all 36 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours; 544 seriously injured persons were shifted to different hospitals while 367 persons having minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.
Tenancy Act: Lahore police operations wing registered 248 cases under Tenancy Act and arrested 492 persons. Eighty six cases were registered in City Division, 50 cases in Cantt Division, 29 cases in City Division, 34 cases in Sadar Division, 22 cases in Iqbal Town Division and 27 cases were registered in Model Town Division.
