PESHAWAR: The Faculty of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences (FPMA) has suspended registration of 17 paramedical institutes for failing to fulfill the requirement of quality education.

A press release on Thursday said the faculty had given enough time to the institutions to improve the standard of education. It added that inspection teams comprising senior members visited these institutions and found their education system of low quality.

The inspection teams recommended suspension of registration and restraining these institutions from further enrollment of students. The release said that these institutions would not be allowed to enroll new students unless they fulfill the requirements.

The students and parents were advised to visit the website of the faculty: www.kpmf.edu.pk to now about the status of the suspended institutions. Around 83 institutions are registered with the FPMA that included 75 private and eight public sector institutions.
