QUETTA: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in its drive against drug trafficking seized a huge consignment of hashish weighing 3.37 tons worth Rs8 billion approximately in the international market. The drug consignment was intended to be smuggled abroad across the sea, says a press release on Sunday. The ANF Quetta, in pursuance of an intelligence report, raided a desolate site in Killi Salman Khel, Tehsil Gulistan, Qilla Abduallah, and seized 3,373 kgs of hashish (Garda) during the operation. Hashish was stocked at a barren site located inside the chain of complex mountains outside the populated area. It was stuffed in large number of plastic bags. As per preliminary reports, the drug consignment was kept at a cache site for handing over to another narcotics gang.
