MINGORA: At least 16 people, including women and children, sustained injuries in a gas explosion in a hotel at the Sohrab Khan Chowk here on Saturday, sources said.
The sources said that the blast occurred after accumulation of gas in a room in which 16 people, mostly women and children, were wounded. They were rushed to the Saidu Sharif Hospital where condition of some of the injured was stated to be critical. It was learnt that the furniture in five rooms of the hotel was also burnt to ashes.
