KARACHI: A shoe-manufacturing factory in New Karachi Industrial Area was gutted in a fire on Thursday.
The factory is located in Sector 12/C within the limits of the New Karachi Industrial Area police station.
Reacting to information, initially one fire tender was dispatched to the property; however, keeping the intensity of the fire in view, more fire tenders later joined in efforts to extinguish the blaze.
According to a fire brigade spokesperson, a watchman was present in the factory when the fire broke out.
