LAHORE: The Teaching Staff Association (TSA) of University of Engineering & Technology has called off its protest against the Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab following a visit by the department’s Additional Secretary to the university on Monday. HED’s Additional Secretary (Academic) Tariq Hameed Bhatti visited the university and assured the university that the department held the university’s Act in high esteem and would not support anything contrary to it.
