MULTAN: A Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever (CCF) suspected child died at the Nishtar Medical institute (NMI) here on Tuesday.
An official source at NMI told APP that Muhammad Asif (7) resident of Basti Taj Muhammad of Barkhan district, Balochistan was admitted at NMI on September 23. He added the patient was first brought to ward 20 (Paediatrics Ward) and later on the suspicion of Congo, he was shifted to the ICU. He died at the hospital today (Tuesday), the source informed.
