LAHORE: Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz on Saturday said the evidences of the PAF Badaber Camp attack will be shared with Afghanistan. The adviser added that both the countries were responsible for eliminating terrorism from their areas.
Talking to a private news channel, Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan will provide the Afghanistan government evidences of the attack on the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Camp in Badaber. He said proofs and evidences are being collected for this purpose.
Sartaj Aziz said Afghanistan must ensure implementation of the agreed points during Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit. He said that both countries are obligated to eliminate terrorism from their respective areas for which coordinated efforts and intelligence sharing was necessary.
He said that mutual cooperation will help establish long-term peace in the region.
Earlier, the Afghan government strongly rejected the claims as baseless that Friday’s attack on the PAF Camp in Badaber was planned and controlled from Afghanistan.
Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa said on Friday that the attack on the PAF camp was planned and controlled from Afghanistan.
“The Government of the Islamic Republic Afghanistan reiterates that it has never nor will it ever allow its territory to be used against other states,” the Afghan presidential palace said.
“Afghanistan, as a victim of terrorism, feels the agony and pain of terrorism, and commiserates in that spirit with the victims of yesterday’s (Friday) attack in Peshawar,” it said.
The statement said Afghanistan believes that terrorism is the enemy of humanity and there are no good and bad terrorists. “Therefore, the regional states, particularly Afghanistan and Pakistan, should continue putting in joint and sincere efforts to eliminate this heinous phenomenon,” it said.
The statement said the military operations of Pakistan

in Waziristan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have had consequences both for Afghanistan and Pakistan.
“The Government of Afghanistan has put in a lot of efforts in recent years to fight terrorism and it once again calls on Pakistan to jointly fight alongside Afghanistan all terrorist groups without discrimination so that peace and stability are ensured in Afghanistan, Pakistan and the region,” the statement said.
