Six militants killed, three injured in NWA clash
MIRANSHAH: Six militants were killed and three others were injured in a clash with security forces in the North Wiziristan Agency on Monday while one soldier embraced martyrdom in the incident.A clash took place between security forces and militants in the mountainous Shawal Valley between North Waziristan and South Waziristan.

MIRANSHAH: Six militants were killed and three others were injured in a clash with security forces in the North Wiziristan Agency on Monday while one soldier embraced martyrdom in the incident.
A clash took place between security forces and militants in the mountainous Shawal Valley between North Waziristan and South Waziristan. One soldier was killed and three others were injured in the clash.Security officials said that six militants were also killed in the encounter. According to official sources, the incident took place in South Waziristan’s side of the Shawal Valley.
Security forces are facing tough security problems in the forest-covered Shawal Valley where majority of the militant groups displaced from residential areas in North Waziristan and South Waziristan tribal regions have taken refuge.
Meanwhile, one soldier was killed and seven others were injured in an accident on the Mir Ali-Miranshah Road.A military convoy was on its way to Miranshah, the headquarters of North Waziristan, when one of the vehicles met with an accident.The injured soldiers were later shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Bannu.
