Due to the lockdown in almost all the country, blood donors are finding it very difficult to donate their blood at the various blood donation centres of the country, to save the lives of children suffering thalassaemia. The major donors are usually students and factory workers. But since everything is closed due to the lockdown, thalassaemia patients are therefore, facing a real threat.
I, therefore, request both the federal and the provincial governments to make necessary arrangements in this lockdown for those blood donors who want to donate their blood.
