MANSEHRA: The police arrested 10 people, including a bridegroom, in a raid on a wedding party in Pulrah area, a police official said on Saturday.
“We have booked 10 people and seized an unlicensed Kalashnikov being used in aerial firing during the wedding ceremony being held in breach of section 144 of Crpc,” Senior Sub-Inspector Manzoor Khan told reporters on Saturday. He said the police party raided the wedding party on Friday night and arrested 10 people, including bridegroom Muhammad Adil.
“Nine of the arrested people, including bridegroom, were released on bail. However, one Samir Riaz, who was firing with an unlicensed Kalashnikov, was sent to the jail.
