MANSEHRA: District Police Officer Sadiq Baloch has said that 10 policemen were kept in quarantine after they escorted “zaireen” who were on way back to Gilgit from Taftan (Iran).
The officer told reporters that screening of policemen and an officer was carried out and later they were put under surveillance.
The Health Department has established isolation wards in Mansehra and Balakot after an expatriate was kept in quarantine at his residence on his return from Britain here in Ghazikot township area on Wednesday.
A Health Department team visited his residence at the posh Ghazikot township area.
According to the Health Department, a 30-bed isolation ward had been established at the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital and a 10-bed hospital in Balakot for the coronavirus affectees.
