The officials also claimed to have seized 600 bottles of fake sanitisers. The suspect was identified as Sufiyan, who was arrested on the information provided by a company employee.
The Soldier Bazaar police arrested four shopkeepers for violating Section 144 imposed across the province as part of the government safety measures against coronavirus. The officials said they took action against Auliya, Waris, Haroon Khan and Asghar Khan because people gathered outside their shops. FIR No. 125/20 has been registered against them.
The District Korangi police arrested two men for making arrangements at a wedding hall and a ground in Korangi. Police said a wedding hall was opened in the Korangi R area, where a ceremony was under way. Police arrested Arshad and registered FIR No. 133/20 against him.
